The Distribution Committee reviews application for grants from the Foundation's Endowment and Scholarship funds and makes recommendations to the Board regarding distributions from these funds.
The Finance Committee oversees the investment of the Community Foundation in its various funds and makes reports to the Directors at regular Board meetings. The committee will also review and recommend acceptance of new funds of the Foundation to the Board.
This committee develops and implements plans to promote the activities of the Foundation in cooperation with staff, which includes marketing materials, publication and fund raising activities. The committee also oversees the annual Philanthropists of the Year breakfast.
The Nominating Committee identifies potential board members and coordinates their addition to the Board of Directors. The committee also develops and presents a slate of officers to the Board.
